The City of Manistee seeks to engage a highly qualified consultant to perform a market and economic feasibility study for the proposed Great Lakes Amphitheater to be located on the pristine Lake Michigan Shoreline. It is anticipated this venue will become an iconic destination given its Lake Michigan shoreline location and adjacent Hampton Inn hotel which is currently under construction. Preliminary architectural renderings of the amphitheater are included with this document to acclimate applicants with the site location, this preliminary concept is not intended to guide or bias consultant’s recommendations.

Proposals must be clearly labeled “Lake Michigan Shoreline Outdoor Performance Venue Market and Feasibility Study”. Both electronic and paper copies shall be submitted. Sealed paper copies (6) shall be mailed or delivered to the City of Manistee, Attn: Heather Pefley, City Clerk, 70 Maple Street, Manistee, MI 49660. Include a thumb drive with the proposal and attachments in PDF format. Proposals are considered received when in the possession of the City Clerk’s office. Bid opening is at 10am 3/28/23. The Clerk's office must have the proposal prior to the bid opening.
