The City of Melvindale is soliciting bids for the entire Roof Replacement at their Civic Area located at 4300 S Dearborn, Melvindale, MI. Bids must be mailed or hand-delivered to the address listed below by 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday February 27th, 2024. Bids will be publicly opened and read aloud at 10:30am at the same location. Proposals not physically received by the City by 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday February 27th, 2024 will be returned, unopened to the firm. All proposals should be addressed to:

Each proposal must be accompanied by a Bid Guarantee in the form of a Bid Bond from a company with an A-1 best rating, or a cashier's check in the amount of 5 percent (5%) of the proposal and made payable to the City of Melvindale, 3100 Oakwood Blvd., Melvindale, MI 48122
No proposal shall be withdrawn for a period of sixty (60) days after the opening date without the consent of the City. Checks or drafts of unsuccessful applicant will be returned as soon as possible after opening and checking the proposals.
