ITB - 4122 - ITB 4122 - Street Tree Planting

Summary of Specifications:
This project consists of furnishing and planting of approximately 60 new outlawn trees throughout the City of Midland in the fall of 2020 and the spring of 2021. The price bid for each tree shall include the furnishing, planting, all backfill soils, mulch, and staking of the tree as per the specifications outlined below. Trees shall be staked as per specified, the trees shall not be wrapped.  These trees shall have a caliper of at least a 2.5” diameter at 18” above the ground surface.  All trees planted as part of this project shall be guaranteed by the Contractor for a period of one year following planting.  The Contractor shall be responsible for any traffic control required for the tree planting operations and notifying Miss Dig prior to tree planting.  The trees shall be planted and mulched prior to December 1st 2020, and June 12th 2021 respectively, unless written permission is granted by the City of Midland.
