The City of Midland Landfill located at 4311 East Ashman Street in Midland, Michigan, currently
operates a 2012 John Deere 644K wheel loader with silicon-filled 23.5R25 tires.
The City is seeking pricing to:
1) Remove the four silicon-filled tires from the loader.
a. Removed tires/silicon-fill can be discarded on site at no cost if desired.
2) Supply new 23.5R25 radial tires.
a. E3/L3 off-road tread pattern (provide image/design information)
b. Ply Rating: ** (2 star)
c. Provide brand/model specifications for proposed tires.
d. May provide multiple quotes (multiple manufacturers, treads, etc.)
3) Silicon foam (or similar) fill the new tires and install.
a. Provide information on proposed fill material.
b. May use portions of removed silicon fill to supplement new fill. Specify if this method
will be used.
