RFP - 4370 - RFP 4370 - Residential Real Estate Title Work and Closing Services

The City of Midland is seeking proposals from competent service providers to assist with title work and closing services under FEMA’s Hazard Mitigation Grant Program.  Project involves services for up to 21 properties that were damaged by freshwater flooding in May 2020. The purpose of this RFP is to select and contract with a licensed title work company that can provide the necessary title search and closing services for properties that will be acquired using funds provided by the Hazard Mitigation Grant Program (HMGP). These acquisitions will occur in phases with the first closing anticipated to occur as soon as 30 days after award of this contract and all acquisitions completed by January 5, 2025, the end of the grant period.

Proposers must be licensed by the State of Michigan and possess insurance coverages acceptable to City as defined herein.
