Description

It is the intent of this specification to provide for the reconstruction of concrete sanitary
sewer by the installation of a resin-impregnated flexible tube, which is formed to the
original conduit by use of a hydrostatic head. The resin is cured using hot water under
hydrostatic pressure within the tube or steam. The Cured-In-Place Pipe (CIPP) will be
continuous and tight fitting. The work shall be completed within 60 calendar days from
the “Notice to Proceed”. There will be a mandatory Pre Bid meeting to attend May 8th at
9:00 am, at the Wastewater Treatment Plant, at 2125 Austin, Midland, MI 48642.
