The City Clerk of Monroe, Michigan will receive electronic proposals until 10:00 a.m. (local time), on Monday, October 10, 2022, for Monroe Metropolitan Sanitary Sewer System Jetting and CCTV Inspection, through the Michigan Intergovernmental Trade Network (MITN) online bidding website. The bids will be publicly open and read aloud via a Zoom on line meeting at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, October 10, 2022, so as to recommend an award at the Monroe City Council meeting on October 17, 2022. Anyone that would like to participate in the bid opening must send a request email to edward.sell@monroemi.gov to receive an email invitation to the opening.

As part of the City of Monroe Preventative Maintenance Program, quotes are requested to clean / jet and CCTV approximately 4,930 lineal feet of sanitary sewer line ranging in size from 18”-24” within the City of Monroe and Frenchtown Charter Township (see attached maps).
Scope:
- Cleaning / jetting / root cutting of the sanitary sewer lines prior to the video inspection of the line are required.
- Some pipe may have high flows, require heavy cleaning, and have roots that need to be cut for CCTV. 90% of the pipe shall be free of solids, sediment, & debris.
- Bypass pumping may be required & shall be included in the bid prices.
- Video inspection of the cleaned sanitary sewer line, noting the condition of pipe, footage, taps, defects and manhole numbers in accordance with the most current NASSCO PACP standard, at least 75% of the pipe wall shall be provided at all times.
- Bid price shall include any necessary traffic control and or permits.
