Summary of Specifications:
The City of Monroe, Michigan seeks professional qualifications, proposed scope and schedule of work and associated fees from firms which have extensive experience providing police, fire and emergency medical response consulting services. The Mayor and City Council are seeking a qualified consultant to provide analysis and recommendations which will provide them with a more detailed and in-depth understanding of the important factors and dynamics which they need to consider while making decisions related to: 1. scheduling and assignment of on-duty fire suppression and emergency medical first response personnel, including Firefighter-Paramedics and Public Safety Officers 2. establishing a public safety services management structure, assigning managers' duties and authority and identifying criteria to consider for selecting and appointing its members See the attached request for proposal for additional details and instructions.
