Summary of Specifications:
The purpose of this Request for Proposals (“RFP”) is to solicit competitive proposals from qualified professional planning consultants to complete development plans for six (6) City parks, which are listed below. The City of Monroe Parks and Recreation Master Plan (2014) outlined the need to develop detailed plans for individual City parks that specify the types of activities the will be supported at the parks, recommend short and long-term physical improvements, and operations and maintenance guidelines. The successful respondent will work with City of Monroe Recreation Department staff to develop a “master plan” for each of these parks that will guide the City in preparing future capital improvement programs and establishing appropriate operations and maintenance plans for each park.
