The City of Monroe is soliciting proposals for the construction of an office at the parks maintenance facility located at 2770 North Custer Road. The facility is accessible off Airport Road on the western boundary of Munson Park. This Request for Proposals may also be obtained from the Michigan Intergovernmental Trade Network (MITN) / Bid Net Direct at https://www.bidnetdirect.com/mitn. Questions on this RFP must be submitted in writing via email by the close of business (4:30 P.M.) on August 12, 2024. Questions should be submitted to Brad Willey, Parks Maintenance Supervisor, via email to brad.willey@monroemi.gov, and no phone call responses to questions will be provided. Responses to all questions will be posted to MITN by the close of business on Tuesday, August 13, 2024. Though not required, a pre-bid conference and site visit is scheduled for Wednesday, August 7 at 9:00 am. Interested parties should contact Brad Willey in advance if they expect to attend. A public acknowledgement of the proposals and pricing submitted will be made by City of Monroe Clerk-Treasurer Michelle J. LaVoy (Clerk) or her designee at 11:00 A.M. on the same day via Zoom teleconference. Parties desiring to participate in this public acknowledgement should contact Edward.sell@monroemi.gov no later than Thursday, August 15 to obtain the Zoom link. It is anticipated a project bid award will be approved by City Council at the September 3, 2024 regular meeting.
