The City Clerk of Monroe, Michigan will receive electronic proposals until 10:00 a.m. (local time), on Monday, July 13, 2020, for the SALE OF NEPTUNE WATER METER PRODUCTS INVENTORY, through the Michigan Intergovernmental Trade Network (MITN) online bidding website. The bids will be publicly open and read aloud via a Zoom on line meeting at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, July 13, 2020. Anyone that would like to participate in the bid opening must send a request email to edward.sell@monroemi.gov to receive an email invitation to the opening.
The bid request is for the City to sell excess and unused Neptune Water Meter products from the Water Department’s inventory. The successful bidder shall be responsible for removing all the Neptune Meter Products listed below from the City of Monroe Water Department Meter Shop located at 937 E. Front Street Monroe, MI 48161 within 3 weeks from award. Removal shall be between 7:00am - 3:00pm, Monday through Friday.
Bids shall be submitted as a lump sum price for all items combined; the items shall be sold as a group.
The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive any informality, to modify quantities and to make award in the best interest of the City. We understand the City reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive any informality, and to make award in the best interest of the City of Monroe. We anticipate recommending an award at the July 20, 2020 City Council meeting. It is agreed that this bid may not be withdrawn for thirty (30) days from the opening of this bid.
