ITB-EW-2014-06 - Sludge Hauling

Summary of Specifications:
The City of Monroe is seeking competitive bids for the transporting / hauling of municipal wastewater sludge. The successful bidder must provide all equipment and personnel necessary for the transportation / delivery of all the grit, sludge, and other residuals produced at the Monroe Metropolitan Wastewater Treatment Plant (MMWTP). The City of Monroe is the operator of the MMWTP and has a separate Special Waste Service Agreement with Republic Services (6233 Hagman Rd. Erie, MI 48133). The contractor will be responsible for hauling and delivering municipal sludge to said landfill and complete the chain of custody. The bid must include all costs and charges necessary for service, transportation and delivery. The bidder is also responsible for the loading of grit from the grit pad into the trailers.
