RFP-EW-2015-02 - Street Sweeper

Summary of Specifications:
The City of Monroe wishes to purchase a mechanical street sweeper for regular (daily) use on its roadway system. This unit will be purchased sometime in calendar year 2015, with the intention that the City is able to take delivery sometime during the spring / summer / fall 2015 sweeping season, but certainly no later than September 1, 2015 to allow for proper staff training time prior to leaf collection in October 2015. It is recognized that each sweeper offered for purchase will not have identical specifications to any others, so the City is prepared to review submitted documentation and make award in the overall best interest of the City, not necessarily to the lowest-priced unit (base cost or in any combination of any and all options). Vendors are free to submit proposals on multiple units, but these should be clearly separated for submission purposes.
