The City of Monroe Water Department is soliciting proposals from professional engineering consulting firms, pursuant to the 2017 Michigan Department of Environment and Water Quality (MDEQ) Sanitary Survey – Remaining Short Term and Long Term Recommendations. Scope of services are to review, evaluate, optimize, complete, perform, outline, and recommend for the Monroe Water System options, alternatives, and costs to meet the list MDEQ requirements as outlined by the Michigan Safe Drinking Water Act, 1976 of P. A. 399, as amended. See the request for proposal document for additional details
Proposal Submission: Four (4) original scaled submittals are due by 10:00 A.M. on Monday, February 4, 2019 to the office of the Clerk-Treasurer (see below), where a public acknowledgement of their submission will be made, however pricing will not be read. Proposals will be available for public inspection for a short time following their opening, and subsequently upon request to the Clerk-Treasurer. The Water Department intends to recommend award of the proposal at the February 19, 2019 Monroe City Council meeting.
