Summary of Specifications:
The installation of a Duro-Last Roofing on multiple buildings located at the City of Monroe Water and Wastewater Treatment Plants. Work to include the installation of ½” fanfold insulation and a 40 mil single ply membrane as manufactured by Duro-Last. The approximate square footage of each building is listed below: Wastewater (2205 E Front St Location) Administration Building =8,400 ft2 Maintenance Shop =2,100 ft2 Equipment Building =14,550 ft2 Gallery Building East =800 ft2 West =800 ft2 Water (915 East Front St Location) Chlorine Building =770 ft2 Pretreatment 3 Building =1,358 ft2 The work under this contract includes the furnishing of all labor, materials, equipment, and construction equipment necessary for the completion of the work as described in the advertisement, complete and in accordance with the attached specifications. 2. Inspect existing insulation for saturation. Remove any saturated insulation and fill with new to make system level. 3. Install 1/2” fanfold insulation as provided by Duro-Last Roofing. 4. Install a full walkway system over the finished roof to protect it from falling ice shards from any overhead adjacent roof, or structures, and to provide access to mechanical roof equipment. 5. Contractor shall furnish and install a White 40 mil single-ply membrane roofing system that is fabricated of a weft inserted low-shrink, anti-wicking polyester fabric and has a thermoplastic coating of PVC material laminated to both sides as manufactured by Duro-Last Roofing, Inc. 6. Install prefabricated flashings in accordance with the membrane manufacturer specifications on all penetrations. 7. Install 24 gauge 2 piece gravel stop prefabricated fascia system to parapet walls as supplied by membrane manufacturer to encapsulate existing coping cap and install 1 ¾” fascia bar with metal cover. (owner to select color) 8. Dispose of all debris in an approved facility in accordance with all local, state, and federal regulations.
