Description

The City of Mt. Pleasant is requesting qualifications and proposals for a qualified Municipal Advisor to represent and advise the City on the marketing, issuance and delivery of its proposed Revenue Bonds expected to be issued for the purpose of funding improvements to the City’s Water Resource Recovery Facility and other related bond financing matters. At this time it is anticipated the bond issue will be approximately $17,000,000.

RFP Respondents: Only municipal advisors registered with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) and Municipal Securities Rulemaking Board (MSRB), or firms with SEC and MSRB registered Municipal Advisors and maintain an office in Michigan may respond to this RFQP.

Qualifications Based Selection – The City of Mt. Pleasant, Michigan, is requesting sealed bids at the Office of the City Clerk, City Hall, 320 W. Broadway, Mt. Pleasant, Michigan 48858, until 1:30 p.m. (local time), on May 11, 2021, at which time and place the bids will be publicly opened and read. Due to closures and adjustments related to the COVID-19 virus, bid submissions are now required to be submitted electronically to a secure email at bid@mt-pleasant.org. Please make sure the subject line of your email clearly states the project you are bidding (“2021 PROFESSIONAL MUNICIPAL ADVISING SERVICES”). Bids must be submitted by 1:30 p.m. on May 11, 2021.
