The City of Mt. Pleasant is seeking proposals for two rounds of testing at the former
municipal landfill site, located on the property near 1303 North Franklin Street,
Mt. Pleasant. The contract resulting from this request for proposals shall be for a period
of three months beginning in September 2020. The City will award the contract and the
contract held between the City of Mt. Pleasant and the environmental services
consultant (ESC).

Interested ESCs are requested to submit statements of experience and qualifications to
the City of Mt. Pleasant in regards to providing professional environmental consulting
services for the Ground Water Testing Project Number 3.

Any questions relative to the scope of services must be submitted by e-mail to Jason
Moore, Public Works Director, at jmoore@mt-pleasant.org. Questions must be received
by September 2, 2020. Answers will be posted online by September 4, 2020.

To be considered as a qualified respondent, five copies of the RFP must be submitted in a sealed envelope and clearly marked RFP: PROFESSIONAL ENVIRONMENTAL CONSULTING SERVICES
GROUNDWATER TESTING PROJECT NUMBER 3, and received by the City of
Mt. Pleasant’s City Clerk’s Office address listed below by 1:30 p.m. on September 8,
2020. Proposal packages must be mailed or delivered to the following address:
