Additional Bidding Instructions

The contractor understands that the term of this contract is for twelve (12) months, with an option to extend for an additional twelve (12) months, if mutually agreed to by the parties. The City shall have the right to not extend this contract for any reason or for no reason at all. The dates for completing the above mentioned work, as set forth in the contract, must be adhered to by the contractor, and any additional work will be scheduled by mutual agreement between the parties.

Time is of the essence for this work. The City of Oak Park anticipates the following schedule for awarding the Contract and starting work:

Start Construction                                        Monday, April 4, 2022
Substantial Completion Date                       Friday, May 6, 2022
Final Completion                                           Friday, May 20, 2022
