Summary of Specifications:
PUBLIC NOTICE TO RESPONDENTS:
Proposals will be received at the City Clerk’s Office, 47450 Woodward Avenue, Pontiac, Michigan 48342, until 4:00 p.m. local time on Monday, January 28, 2011 for the following:
1) PROVISION OF PLAZA MANAGEMENT AND MAINTENANCE SERVICES
All proposals shall be separately bound with four (4) copies provided. Proposal submittals will also include all of the pages listed in this Request for Proposals.
The Request for Proposals (RFP) will be available on Friday, December 17, 2010 and may be obtained at the City’s website at http://www.pontiac.mi.us/departments/finance_purchasing.html. The City will not accept responses via tax or electronic transmission.
Pre-Proposal Meeting. A mandatory pre-proposal meeting is scheduled for January 11, 2011 starting at 10:00 AM at Pontiac City Hall, 47450 Woodward Avenue, Pontiac, Michigan 48342 on the second floor in the City Council chambers
The respondents will be required to comply with Michigan statutory prohibitions against discrimination in employment and with contract compliance requirements in reference to employment opportunities for City of Pontiac residents and for minorities and women.
No proposal, once submitted, may be withdrawn for at least 180 days after the actual opening of the proposals.
The City is looking for proposals that will provide a stream of income that is independent of property tax collection.
The right to accept any proposal or part thereof, to reject any or all proposals, and to waive defects in proposals, is reserved by the City.
