Furnish all labor, material and equipment to mechanically dredge approximately 0-4,500 cubic yards of sand from the Lake Huron entrance of the Black River Canal and deposit the material waterward of Lake Huron’s edge and no farther than the second sand bar within the approximately 820-foot long area along Conger Street between Holland Avenue and 3470 Conger Street, complete, as per the project specifications and in accordance with the Department of Army and MDEQ permits.

Additional Bidding Instructions

Bidding documents including drawings and project manual contract documents, including instruction to bidders form, agreement and specifications may be examined and shall be obtained from the office of the City Engineer of the City of Port Huron, Room 316, Municipal Office Center, 100 McMorran Boulevard, Port Huron, Michigan, 48060 beginning on December 23, 2019 for a non-refundable printing fee of $25.00 per set. Shipping is an additional $15.00 per set. There will be no refunds or returns of bid documents. The purchaser must supply the telephone number and street address of the individual or firm to whom addendum (if any) can be directed.

A certified check payable to the City of Port Huron, or a satisfactory bid bond executed by the bidder and a surety company, in the amount equal to five percent (5%) of the bid, shall be submitted with each bid. No bid may be withdrawn for at least ninety (90) days after the scheduled closing time for receiving bids.
