The City of Port Huron, Michigan desires to construct a new six-bay Central Fire Station at the present location of White Park. White Park is located on 10th Street between White and Chestnut Streets. This new station will combine operations at the Fire Department’s current Central Station (515 River Street) and Station #4 (3114 24th Street). The new Central Fire Station is estimated to be approximately 22,000 square feet in area including a six-bay apparatus room, equipment and personnel decontamination facilities, a training facility, living quarters for up to nine suppression personnel, and administrative offices for on-duty fire officers and one administrative training officer.
Site requirements include parking spaces for 20 vehicles, drive-through apparatus bays, a training tower, and an outbuilding of approximately 2,500 square feet.
