Description

The project includes but is not limited to furnishing all labor, material and equipment to demolish the existing restroom building and construct a new restroom building, provide and install play equipment with surfacing, and concrete walkways, with appurtenances, complete as per the project drawings and specifications. This project is funded in part by a Michigan Natural Resources Trust Fund (MNRTF) grant of the Michigan Department of Natural Resources. Prevailing wage requirements DO NOT apply to this project. The project must comply with 1976 PA 453 (Elliot-Larsen civil Rights Act) and 1976 PA 220 (Persons with Disabilities Civil Rights Act), as amended.

Bidding documents, including drawings and project manual contract documents, including instruction to bidders, proposal form, and specifications may be examined and shall be obtained from the Michigan Intergovernmental Trade Network (MITN) website by BidNet Connect, located at https://www.bidnetdirect.com/mitn beginning on Friday, August 7, 2020. All Bidders shall obtain a complete set of bid documents, including all posted addenda, from the City of Port Huron via MITN.

All bidders are required to qualify according to the bidder qualification regulations for contractors bidding on City of Port Huron contracts as set forth in the instruction to bidders. Contractor must comply with the City of Port Huron Uniform City Income Tax Ordinance.
