Description

The work under this contract includes the furnishing of all labor, material, equipment and all else necessary for the removal and replacement of the Anti-Graffiti Coating in the Military Street Tunnel. The project shall be completed in accordance with the contract documents and all related technical discussion involving the Engineer.

PROJECT DESCRIPTION:

The work consists of removing and disposing of the existing graffiti, paint, and anti-graffiti coating, and application of new anti-graffiti coating. Located underneath Military Street directly after Jenkinson Street

Base Bid Work includes the following:

The Contractor shall perform the following services for the City regarding the proposed project:

Contractor will place barriers to close off entrances
Contractor shall remove any existing graffiti, paint, or anti-graffiti coating already in place.
The dimensions of the tunnel are approximately 3000 sq ft.
Contractor will verify amount needed before purchasing coating.
Contractor will use clear 2k water based Urethane Anti-Graffiti Coating or an approved equal.
Contractor will prepare concrete surface.
Contractor will apply anti-graffiti coating.
Contractor will have access to the tunnel Monday through Friday from the hours of 7:00 am to 9:00 pm.
Work shall be completed by June 30th, 2021.
