Sealed bids will be received by the City of Port Huron, Michigan, by mail in the office of the City Controller, Room 217, 100 McMorran Boulevard, Port Huron, Michigan, or in person in the City Clerk’s office, 1st floor, of the Municipal Office Center, 100 McMorran Boulevard, Port Huron, Michigan, until 3:00 p.m. on April 28, 2022, and immediately thereafter the bids will be publicly opened and read in the Public Meeting Room of the aforesaid Municipal Office Center.
Bidding documents including drawings and project manual contract documents, including instruction to bidders form, agreement and specifications may be examined and shall be obtained from the Michigan Inter-governmental Trade Network (MITN) website by BidNet Connect, Located at https://www.bidnetdirect.com/mitn beginning on March 18, 2022. All Bidders shall obtain a complete set of bid documents, including all posted addenda, from the City of Port Huron via MITN.
A certified check payable to the City of Port Huron, or a satisfactory bid bond executed by the bidder and a surety company, in the amount equal to five percent (5%) of the bid, shall be submitted with each bid. No bid may be withdrawn for at least ninety (90) days after the scheduled closing time for receiving bids. All bids must be submitted on proposal forms provided by the City of Port Huron for that purpose.
All bidders are required to qualify according to the bidder qualification regulations for contractors bidding on City of Port Huron contracts as set forth in the instruction to bidders.
