Project documents, including bid form and specifications may be examined and shall be obtained from
the Michigan Inter-governmental Trade Network (MITN) website by BidNet Connect, located
at https://www.bidnetdirect.com/mitn beginning on Thursday, February 2, 2023. All submitters shall
obtain a complete set of proposal documents, including all posted addenda, from the City of Port
Huron via MITN.
A certified check payable to the City of Port Huron, or a satisfactory bid bond executed by the
bidder and a surety company, in the amount equal to five percent (5%) of the bid, shall be
submitted with each bid. No bid may be withdrawn for at least ninety (90) days after the scheduled
closing time for receiving bids. All bids must be submitted on the bid form provided by the City
of Port Huron via MITN for that purpose.
The City of Port Huron reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive any defects or
irregularities in a bid, and to accept any bid which is deemed most advantageous to the said City's
interests. The successful submitter will be required to furnish satisfactory insurance
certificates.
All submitters are required to qualify according to the bidder qualification regulations for
contractors bidding on City of Port Huron contracts as set forth in the instruction to bidders.
Submitters must comply with the City of Port Huron Uniform City Income Tax Ordinance. For
