Description

Provide a technical proposal and associated bid to furnish all labor, material and equipment to remove and replace a 24” check valve located inside the concrete raw water wet well of the low lift building, including, but not limited to, replacing corroded nuts and bolts on the existing fittings. The project requires and includes removing the 14,000 gpm low lift pump and re-building and re-installing the pump after the new check valve is in place per specifications. This request for bid includes a separate technical proposal and lump sum cost proposal.

The Request for Proposal documents, including specifications, insurance requirements, and drawings may be examined and shall be obtained from the office of the City Engineer of the City of Port Huron, Room 316, Municipal Office Center, 100 McMorran Boulevard, Port Huron, Michigan, 48060 beginning on Friday, March 6, 2020 for a non-refundable printing fee of $25.00. Shipping is an additional $10.00. Only proposals submitted using the documents provided by the City of Port Huron Engineering Department will be accepted.
