P24-0170 - Water Filtration Plant- Rebuild High Lift Service Pump No. 2

Sealed bids will be received by the City of Port Huron, Michigan, by mail or in person in the City Clerk’s office, 1st Floor, of the Municipal Office Center, 100 McMorran Boulevard, Port Huron, Michigan, 48060 until 3:00 p.m. on October 17, 2024 and immediately thereafter the bids will be publicly opened and read in a Public Meeting Room of the aforesaid Municipal Office Center.

Bidding documents, including drawings and project manual contract documents, instruction to bidders, bid proposal form, and specifications may be examined and shall be obtained from the Michigan Inter-governmental Trade Network (MITN) website by BidNet Connect, located at https://www.bidnetdirect.com/mitn beginning on September 25, 2024.  All Bidders shall obtain a complete set of bid documents, including all posted addenda, from the City of Port Huron via BidNet Connect and are required to have a representative at the mandatory pre-bid meeting for their bid to be responsive.
 
A certified check payable to the City of Port Huron, or a satisfactory bid bond executed by the bidder and a surety company, in the amount equal to five percent (5%) of the bid, shall be submitted with each bid. No bid may be withdrawn for at least ninety (90) days after the scheduled closing time for receiving bids. All bids must be submitted on the bid forms provided in the bid documents for that purpose.

The City of Port Huron reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive any defects or irregularities in the bid, and to accept any bid which is deemed most advantageous to the said City's interests.  The successful bidder will be required to furnish satisfactory performance bond, labor and material bond, maintenance and guarantee bond, and insurance certificate.

All bidders are required to qualify according to the bidder qualification regulations for contractors bidding on City of Port Huron contracts as set forth in the instruction to bidders.  Contractor must comply with the City of Port Huron Uniform City Income Tax Ordinance.  For questions regarding this project, please contact Amanda Huddas at (810) 984-9730.
