The City of Rochester Hills & AUCH Construction will receive firm subcontractor bids for the Borden Park Office located at 1400 E. Hamlin Rd., Rochester Hills, MI, 48307 and Innovation Hills Park Ranger Station located at 2800 W. Hamlin Rd., Rochester Hills, MI 48309. Site Work, Utilities, Architectural, Mechanical, and Electrical work will be performed at the new Borden Park Office Building and the new Innovation Hills Park Ranger Station.
The bidding documents consist of plans and specifications as prepared by H2A Architects, 9100
Lapeer Rd., Suite B Davison, MI 48423. Complete sets of documents will be available to download through the Pipeline Suite. A copy of the documents will also be available for review at the offices of the AUCH Construction, 65 University Drive, Pontiac, Michigan, 48342, 248-334-2000, on or after November 11, 2021.
A pre-bid meeting will be held at Borden Park 1400 E. Hamlin Rd. Rochester Hills, Michigan 48307 on November 22, 2021 at 1:00 PM, at Borden.
An opaque envelope bearing your proposal must identify your company name, proposal package bidding, the project being bid “City of Rochester Hills Borden Park Office and Innovation Hills Park Ranger Station” and “Sealed Bid, Do Not Open”. The proposal shall be addressed to AUCH Construction Office only.
Proposals must be delivered to AUCH Construction only no later than 12:00 pm., on Thursday December 9, 2021. Proposals must be delivered to AUCH Construction, 65 University Drive, Pontiac, MI 48342. Each proposal must be submitted on the forms furnished by the Construction Manager and must be completed in full. A bid bond executed by a U.S. Treasury Listed Surety Company acceptable AUCH Construction or a cashier’s check in the amount of at least 5% of the sum of the proposal payable to City of Rochester Hills shall be submitted with each proposal in excess of $26,046. All proposals shall be firm for a period of sixty (60) days.
Bids will be publicly opened and read via Zoom at AUCH Construction, 65 University Drive, Pontiac, MI 48342, starting at 1:00 pm (EST) Thursday December 9, 2021. To access the Zoom meeting, go online to zoom.us or open the zoom app and select the option to join meeting. Enter the meeting ID 2485352815 when prompted and enter 1234 as the passcode. Successful bidders whose proposals are $50,000 or more will be required to furnish a U.S. Treasury Listed Company Performance and Payment Bond in the amount of 100% of their bid. The cost of the Bond shall be included in each proposal.
The City of Rochester Hills reserves the right to reject any and/or all bids in whole or in part
and to waive therein. City of Rochester Hills reserves the right to accept that bid which in its
opinion, is in the best interest of the City.
