The City of Rochester Hills is accepting quotations for interactive inflatable amusement items to be used at the Rochester Hills Festival of the Hills to be held on Wednesday, June 29, 2022 at Borden Park (Hamlin and John R).

Background
The Festival of the Hills includes several hours of entertainment concluding with a fireworks display. The event attracts approximately 50,000 attendees each year. The Festival of the Hills is funded by private donations.
Scope of Work:
The City wishes to use a combination of inflatable’s, such as bouncers, slides, obstacle courses, sports games, etc. It is the City’s intent to allow as many children as possible to utilize the inflatables. The assortment of inflatables should attract a range of children’s age groups and will be used by children 12 & under. They should be self-contained units, run by generators. All generators need to have GFCI protection built in or can have an approved pig-tail type cord that plugs into the generator that has GFCI protection.
Trained personnel are required to be in attendance to setup, manage, staff and remove the inflatables, and shall be neatly attired and identified as employees of the company.
Inflatables shall be available to the public by 6:00 p.m. Peak hours of operation will be 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. on June 29, 2022. Set-up can begin as early as 12:00 p.m., with load out until 9:30 p.m. If company has not left the property by 9:45 p.m., teardown/load out activities shall cease until the completion of the fireworks show.
The awarded company shall provide a certificate of insurance in accordance with the terms and requirements as outlined below, prior to the City entering into any contract with the vendor.
The awarded company shall also follow and adhere to the safety guidelines outlined in the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission’s Amusement Ride Safety Bulletin, issued May 23, 2001.
No smoking is allowed in front of the public.
The City of Rochester Hills reserves the right to cancel the event and re-schedule without penalty.
