Dated: August 30, 2022. The City of Rochester Hills is soliciting quotations for the clean-up of a nuisance residential property in the City of Rochester Hills. The property has a court order with description of all items to be addressed to bring into compliance with Ordinance codes.
With the COVID-19 pandemic, some City processes have been affected and as such, are requiring adjustment to our normal processes to accommodate. The City of Rochester Hills officially distributes quotation documents from the Purchasing Division or through the Michigan Intergovernmental Trade Network (MITN). Copies of quotation documents obtained from any other source are not considered official copies. Only those vendors who obtain quotation documents from either the Purchasing Division or the MITN System are guaranteed access to receive addendum information, if such information is issued. The first step to do business with the City is to become a registered vendor by visiting www.mitn.info to link to the MITN website. Final quotation results will be posted on the MITN website after award.
As this quotation is being made available by electronic means, the vendor accepts full responsibility to ensure that no changes are made to the quotation documents. In the event of conflict between a version of the quotation submitted by the vendor, the version maintained by the City of Rochester Hills Purchasing Division shall govern.
The submission of a Quotation hereunder shall be considered evidence that the proposer is satisfied with respect to the conditions to be encountered, and the character, quantity and quality of the work to be performed.
Definitions.
1. Owner or City shall refer to the City of Rochester Hills.
2. Service Company, Vendor, Contractor or Proposer shall refer to the company providing a bid, quote or proposal for the work outlined in the specifications.
Project Description.
The City of Rochester Hills is soliciting quotations for a qualified contractor to abate a residential property of debris violating the City’s blight ordinances. The court order allows for the removal of the debris and the City is seeking a Vendor to provide all necessary equipment; and competent, suitable and qualified personnel to perform the work required. City staff will be onsite possibly with an officer from the Oakland County Sheriff’s Office Rochester Hills Substation. Several photos of property are located on Attachment A pages 14-16 of this solicitation.
A Walk-Through will be held on September 8, 2022 at 1:00 pm at the property located at 3310 Longview, Rochester Hills, Michigan 48307 to become familiar with the premises specified, provide a forum for questions/answers and the work to be performed according to the contract and specifications. This will be the only opportunity for contractors to have access to the facility. Attendance at the Walk-Through is highly encouraged although is not mandatory in order to submit a quote.

Questions received after the date and time above will not be considered. Only the person designated above is authorized to seek additional information from prospective firms regarding their Proposal. Correspondence or inquiries made directly to firms regarding their Proposal from other persons are to be directed to the employee designated above for appropriate review and response.
