Summary of Specifications:
The City requires consulting services to assist the City with understanding and training in the Human Resource module and report writing on the Oracle Enterprise One (JDE One World 8.11, SP1) Financial System during 2008. The City’s future needs may include, but are not limited to, improved report writing capabilities, specific module audits, review of module set-up and functionality expansions. The City reserves the right to exercise an option to renew this contract in future years. The following Oracle Enterprise One modules are currently being utilized by City staff: General Accounting, Budgeting, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, Procurement, Work Orders, Inventory, Human Resources, Payroll, Financial Report Writer, Enterprise Report Writer, Foundation Environment (Security, Menus, Address Book, Reporting, etc.) and the OneWorld Toolset). The selected consultant will work with a project manager and a committee of City staff, who are power users of the system. The various projects will be identified and defined by the team. The consultant will provide a complete scope of work, cost estimate and anticipated timeline for each project identified by the City. Work will not begin on any project without written notice from the City of Rochester Hills. All identified projects will be within the 2008 budget constraints of the City (2008 budget - $24,000). The City of Rochester Hills reserves the right to not proceed with a subsequent enhancement projects based on the results of previous project(s). Whenever possible, consulting work shall be completed remotely.
