The City of Rochester Hills is soliciting quotations from qualified companies to provide replacement UPS batteries. The City’s UPS System is an APC MGE Galaxy 5000 40kva UPS System, Model #72-174001-00, Serial #3AEQ18003001 and Battery Cabinet Model #72-174022-26, Serial #J14-21413.
Note: Installation is not included. Contractor to provide and deliver to the City of Rochester Hills, Michigan.
The quantity is thirty-six (36). The make/model/PN/size of the battery is C&D Dynasty UPS 12-490MR for the replacement UPS batteries. Quote to include cost for the Contractor to evacuate the junk/spent batteries from the City; all transportation, recycling and disposal shall be done in accordance with all federal, state and local laws after they have been replaced.
With the COVID-19 pandemic, some City processes have been affected and as such, are requiring adjustment to our normal processes to accommodate. All questions shall be made in writing by Wednesday, March 20, 2024 at 11:30 a.m. Questions received after the above date and time will not be considered. at which time a response will be prepared and forwarded to all vendors as an amendment, or an addendum to the quotation, if such information would be of significance to uninformed vendors. Questions received after the date and time above will not be considered. Vendors are specifically directed to not contact other City staff; unauthorized contact of any City Department employee may result in rejection of submittal. It shall be the proposer’s responsibility to make inquiry as to changes or addenda issued. All such changes or addenda shall become a part of the contract and all proposers shall be bound by such changes or addenda. Addendums will be posted on the MITN system.
The City of Rochester Hills officially distributes quotation documents from the Purchasing Division or through the Michigan Intergovernmental Trade Network (MITN). Copies of quotation documents obtained from any other source are not considered official copies. Only those vendors who obtain quotation documents from either the Purchasing Division or the MITN System are guaranteed access to receive addendum information, if such information is issued. The first step to do business with the City is to become a registered vendor by visiting the City’s website or directly visit the MITN website at www.mitn.info. Final quotation results will be posted on the MITN website after award.
The submission of a quotation hereunder shall be considered evidence that the vendor is satisfied with respect to the conditions to be encountered, and the character, quantity, and quality of the work to be performed.
As this Request for Quotations is being made available by electronic means, the contractor accepts full responsibility to ensure that no changes are made to the Request for Quotations documents. In the event of conflict between a version of the Request for Quotations submitted by contractor and the version maintained by the City of Rochester Hills Purchasing Division, the version maintained by the City of Rochester Hills Purchasing Division shall govern.
