SFQ-RH-20-095 - Wireless Intercom System

The City of Rochester Hills is accepting quotations for a one time purchase from qualified vendors to provide a Wireless Intercom System for the scale at the Department of Public Services location.

Unit prices are requested, FOB City of Rochester, Department of Public Services Maintenance Facility, 511 E. Auburn Road, Rochester Hills, MI  48307. 

With the COVID-19 pandemic, some City processes have been affected and as such, are requiring adjustment to our normal processes to accommodate. If you are interested in providing a quotation, please fill in the following information and email or upload to the MITN website by Thursday, December 10, 2020 at 3:00 PM EST. 

Due to COVID-19, a Walk-Thru Meeting will be held virtually through Zoom Teleconference. The virtual walk-thru will begin held on Tuesday, November 24, 2020 beginning at 9:00 a.m. in order to become familiar with the location, provide a forum for questions/answers and the work to be performed according to the contract and specifications. The deadline for questions must be submitted by 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, December 1, 2020 to scullyd@rochesterhills.org, in order that a written response in the form of an addendum can be processed before the due date. Inquiries received after the date and time above will not be considered.  Attendance at the virtual walk-through is not mandatory in order to submit a quotation; but this will be the only time potential vendors will be able to virtual view the location.

We are requesting that you not attend in person to limit capacity within City buildings during this time and it is possible that City buildings may not be open to the public at the time of the opening.

As this quotation is being made available by electronic means, the vendor accepts full responsibility to ensure that no changes are made to the quotation documents.  In the event of conflict between a version of the quotation submitted by vendor and the version maintained by the City of Rochester Hills Purchasing Division, the version maintained by the City of Rochester Hills Purchasing Division shall govern.

The City of Rochester Hills officially distributes quote documents from the Purchasing Division or through the Michigan Intergovernmental Trade Network (MITN).  Copies of quote documents obtained from any other source are not considered official copies.  Only those vendors who obtain quote documents from either the Purchasing Division or the MITN System are guaranteed access to receive addendum information, if such information is issued.  It shall be the proposer’s responsibility to make inquiry as to changes or addenda issued.  All such changes or addenda shall become a part of the contract and all proposers shall be bound by such changes or addenda.  The first step to do business with the City is to become a registered vendor by visiting www.mitn.info to link to the MITN website. Final quotation results will be posted on the MITN website after award.

The submission of a Quote hereunder shall be considered evidence that the proposer is satisfied with respect to the conditions to be encountered, and the character, quantity and quality of the work to be performed.  All quoted prices shall remain in effect for at least ninety (90) days from the date of the quotation opening to allow for the award and that, if chosen, the successful vendor’s prices shall remain firm through the entire term of the contract.
