Summary of Specifications:
(1) The City of Romulus is seeking bids for a wireless trolley system with a pan/tilt head for its Cable Department. The specifications provided are based upon a specific manufacturer’s products but are not intended to be exclusionary but to establish the minimum standards required for any systems bid (Department Approved Alternates Acceptable). Pricing to include all shipping and handling cost to deliver all items to the City of Romulus Cable Department located at 11111 Wayne Road, Romulus, MI 48174. Bidder must indicate below by checking yes or no if the product being bid complies or does not comply with the specification. If it does not an explanation must be provided as to how the item being bid varies (deficiencies and/or improvements). (2) Qualified individuals and firms wishing to submit bids must use the forms provided by the City. Bid forms and specifications may be obtained by visiting the MITN system @ www.mitn.info. (3) Two (2) copies of the bids must be submitted in a sealed envelope and returned to the City Clerk's Office no later than 2:30, Tuesday, May 24, 2016. Bids should be submitted in a sealed envelope and addressed using the Bid package label provided herein. (4) At approximately 2:45, local time all timely received bids are to be publicly opened and read. (5) The City reserves the right to reject all bids and proposals and to waive irregularities.
