REQUEST TO RECEIVE BIDS The City of Romulus along with the collective members of the Downriver Consortium (20 communities including but not limited to: Wyandotte, Woodhaven, Trenton, Taylor, Southgate, Romulus, Rockwood, Riverview, River Rouge, Melvindale, Lincoln Park, Huron Township, Grosse Ile Township, Gibraltar, Flat Rock, Ecorse, Dearborn Heights, Brownstown Township and Allen Park) are seeking sealed bids for 12 month contract pricing for the purchase of JCM 161 (OR EQUIVALENT), FABRICATED LUG ALL STAINLESS STEEL CLAMP COUPLINGS, (1) Qualified individuals and firms wishing to submit bids must use forms provided by the City.
(2) Bids must be submitted in sealed envelopes and returned to the City Clerk's Office no later than 2:30 pm, Tuesday, March 18, 2014.
(3) At approximately 2:45 pm all timely received bids shall be opened and read aloud.

(5) All timely received bids will be reviewed at the regular meeting of the Downriver Consortium to be held at 9:00 am, Tuesday, April 8, 2014, in room 177 of the Downriver Community Conference, 15100 Northline Rd., Southgate, MI 48195.
(6) The City along with the Consortium’s membership reserves the right to reject all bids and proposals and to waive technicalities.
