Summary of Specifications:
INVITATION TO BID City of Romulus Bid 09/10-16 SCADA TELEMETRY STYSTEM
Sealed Bids for SCADA Project will be received at the office of the City of Romulus until 2:00 pm local time, on December 17, 2009, by the office of the Clerk located at 11111 Wayne Road, Romulus, MI 48174. The approximate quantities of major items of work involved are as follows: SCADA telemetry system consisting of master controller station and SCADA panels for remote control and monitoring of nine sites.
The Contract Documents for this project are on file and may be examined on and after 2:00 pm, November 19, 2009, at the following locations: the office of the ENGINEER, Orchard, Hiltz, & McCliment, Inc., 34000 Plymouth Road, Livonia, MI 48150; area offices of McGraw-Hill Construction/ReproMAX, 36060 Industrial Road, Livonia, MI 48150; Reed Construction Data at www.reedepr.com; the Construction Association of Michigan (CAM), 43636 Woodward, Bloomfield Hills, MI 48302-3204; Construction News Service of Michigan at www.michiganconstruction.net; and City of Romulus, 11111 Wayne Road, Romulus, MI 48174.
Copies thereof may be obtained on or after 2:00 pm, local time, November 19, 2009, at the office of the ENGINEER, Orchard, Hiltz & McCliment, Inc., 34000 Plymouth Road, Livonia, MI 48150. A fee of forty dollars ($40.00) non-refundable will be charged for each set of Contract Documents. An additional fee of ten dollars ($10.00) non-refundable will be charged for each set of Contract Documents that are mailed.
Bid Security in the form of a Bid Bond for a sum no less than five percent (5%) of the amount of the Bid will be required with each Bid.
The OWNER reserves the right to accept any Bid, reject any Bid, or waive irregularities in Bids. No Bid may be withdrawn for a period of sixty (60) calendar days after the scheduled closing time for receipt of the Bids.
No pre-bid meetings are scheduled for this project.
