Summary of Specifications:
CITY OF ROMULUS INVITATION TO BID ITB 12/13-07 PRISONER RESTRAINT CHAIR FOR ROMULUS POLICE DEPARTMENT
The City of Romulus Police Department is seeking bid for the acquisition of one (1) Emergency Restraint Chair. The use of the chair is intended to help control combative, self-destructive, or potentially violent detainees and to reduce the risk of physical harm to both the detainee and staff.
The following specifications are based upon the E.R.C. Inc., Emergency Restraint Chair. These specifications are not intended to be exclusionary but shall establish the minimum standards by which all items bid shall be compared.
ALTERNATES: Companies submitting alternates must include any and all manufactures literature available. No more than 2% variation on all weights and measurements will be considered acceptable.
Qualified individuals and firms wishing to submit bids must use the forms provided by the City. Bid forms and specifications may be obtained by visiting the MITN system, http://www.mitn.info.
Bids must be submitted in sealed envelopes and returned to the City Clerk's Office no later than 2:00 P.M., Wednesday, September 19, 2012

At approximately 2:15, local time all timely received bids are to be publicly opened and read.
The City reserves the right to reject all bids and proposals and to waive technicalities.
