RFP-LC-11/12-23 - IFP 11/12-23 PRIVATE AMBULANCE SERVICES - ONE YEAR CONTRACT

Summary of Specifications:
The City of Romulus is continuing to ensure that adequate emergency ambulance service is provided for the citizens of Romulus and for persons who may be injured or in need of ambulance services within the City of Romulus. The City of Romulus is seeking proposals from qualified companies to provide ambulance services in accordance with the IFP. The successful company will be required to enter into a contract with the City. The contract period will be one (1) year, with two (2) additional one-year renewal options, for a possible total of three (3) years. The renewal options shall be at the same terms and conditions as the original contract. Company shall provide full time ambulance service on an emergency and non-emergency basis for all incidents, including, without limitation, road accidents, occurring within the City – and within any jurisdiction with which the City of Romulus is part of a Mutual Aid or similar emergency response agreement – that require such medical intervention and transport services to the closest appropriate medical facility or as depicted under Wayne County EMS protocols for trauma.
