Invitation to Bid City of Romulus ITB 10/11-13 Goddard Road Water Main
Sealed Bids for Goddard Road Water Main improvements will be received at the office of the City of Romulus until 2:00 pm local time, on June 30, 2011 by the office of the Clerk located at 11111 Wayne Road, Romulus, MI 48174. The approximate quantities of major items of work involved and the contract documents for this project are on file and may be examined on and after 2:00 pm, June 2, 2011, at the following locations: the office of the ENGINEER, Orchard, Hiltz, & McCliment, Inc., 34000 Plymouth Road, Livonia, MI 48150 (734-522-6711), area offices of McGraw-Hill Construction/ReproMAX, 36060 Industrial Road, Livonia, MI 48150; Reed Construction Data at www.reedepr.com; the Construction Association of Michigan (CAM), 43636 Woodward, Bloomfield Hills, MI 48302-3204; Construction News Service of Michigan at www.michiganconstruction.net; and City of Romulus, 11111 Wayne Road, Romulus, MI 48174. A $65.00 non re-fundable charge for each set of documents will apply and an additional $15.00 charge for mailing will be charged by the City Engineers. Bid Security in the form of a Bid Bond for a sum no less than five percent (5%) of the amount of the Bid will be required with each Bid. The City reserves the right to accept any Bid, reject any Bid, or waive irregularities in Bids. No bid may be withdrawn for a period of ninety (90) calendar days after the scheduled closing time for receipt of the bids
