CITY OF ROMULUS INVITATION TO BID ITB 12/13-03 2012 CONCRETE JOINT SEAL PROGRAM The City of Romulus, Michigan is seeking bids from qualified vendors for the resealing of approximately 65,000 lineal feet of concrete joints with hot poured rubber. Sealed bids will be received until 1:00 pm local time on August 28, 2012, by the office of the City Clerk located at 11111 Wayne Road, Romulus, MI 48174 at which time bids are to be publicly opened and read. Contract documents for this project are are on file and may be examined at the office of the City Clerk, 11111 Wayne Road, Romulus, MI 48174; the City’s engineer, Orchard, Hiltz, & McCliment, Inc., 34000 Plymouth Road, Livonia, MI 48150; area offices of McGraw-Hill Construction/ReproMAX, 36060 Industrial Road, Livonia, MI 48150; Reed Construction Data at www.reedepr.com; the Construction Association of Michigan (CAM), 43636 Woodward, Bloomfield Hills, MI 48302-3204. Contract Documents are currently available from the offices of the City’s Engineers, Orchard, Hiltz, & McCliment, Inc.. A non refundable fee of forty $40.00 will be charged for each set of documents. An additional non-refundable fee of $10.00 will be charged for each set of documents that are mailed. A bid bond in a sum no less than five percent (5%) of the amount of the bid must accompany each bid. The City reserves the right to reject all bids and proposals and to waive technicalities. No Bid may be withdrawn for a period of sixty (60) calendar days after the scheduled closing time for receipt of the Bids.
