Summary of Specifications:
CITY OF ROMULUS - INVITATION TO BID ITB 12/13-10 NATURAL GAS SUPPLIER FOR CITY BUILDINGS
The City of Romulus (herein after referred to as “City”), solicits interested and qualified firms (herein after referred to as "Company"), licensed with the Michigan Public Service Commission to participate in Natural Gas Customer Choice in the State of Michigan, to submit pricing for entering into an agreement for the purpose of furnishing the City with natural gas for a period to be determined by the outcome of this bid and commencing upon the successful execution of all related contract documents.
All bids are to be submitted in triplicate (one original and two copies) and all bidders are held to bid prices for twenty-four hours or until bid award, whichever comes first, except the successful Company whose prices/pricing method shall remain firm for the entire contract period.
Payment by the City will be under the Consumers Energy Gas Choice Program and will be invoiced by DTE Energy/MichCon on their standard invoices submitted to the City.
(1) Qualified individuals and firms wishing to submit bids must use the forms provided by the City. Bid forms and specifications may be obtained by visiting the MITN system @ www.mitn.info.
(2) Bids must be submitted in sealed envelopes and returned to the City Clerk's Office no later than 12:00 P.M. noon, Monday, October 8, 2012. At approximately 2:15 p.m., local time all timely received bids are to be publicly opened and read.
(3) BID ENVELOPES MUST BE ADDRESSED:

(4) The City reserves the right to reject all bids and proposals and to waive technicalities.
