Summary of Specifications:
CITY OF ROMULUS INVITATION TO BID ITB 12/13-15 54" GRAPHICS DESIGN CUTTING PLOTTER SYSTEM FOR DPW
(1) The City of Romulus, Michigan is seeking bids from qualified vendors for the acquisition of a 54" Graphics design cutting plotter system for the City's Department of Public Works. The graphics design system bid must produce traffic control devices in accordance with the FHWA (Federal Highway Administration) rules and regulations set forth in the Standard Highway Signs Manual (referred hereafter as the SHSM) & the MUTCD (Manual of Uniform Traffic Control Devices). The company awarded the bid will be responsible for all products, all software required for the intended operation of the equipment, the timely delivery of all equipment, the set up of all equipment, the installation of all required software on a computer provided by the City, all training as outlined in the specifications, remote technical support as outlined and the minimum warranty listed.
(2) Qualified individuals and firms wishing to submit bids must use the forms provided by the City. Bid forms and specifications may be obtained from the MITN system @ www.mitn.info.
(3) Bids must be submitted in sealed envelopes and returned to the City Clerk's Office no later than 2:00 P.M., Wednesday, November 21, 2012. At approximately 2:15 p.m., local time all timely received bids are to be publicly opened and read.

(4) The City reserves the right to reject all bids and proposals and to waive technicalities.
