Summary of Specifications:
CITY OF ROMULUS - INVITATION TO BID ITB 12/13-32 HEAVY DUTY FOUR POST ABOVE GROUND HOIST - D.P.W.
The City of Romulus Department of Public Works is requesting bids from qualified vendors for the acquisition, delivery and installation of one heavy duty above ground runway style track lift for the City's Fleet Garage located at 12600 Wayne Road, Romulus, Michigan. The intended purpose of this lift is for under vehicle service of all of the City's vehicles weighing up to and not exceeding 19,000 lbs. Installation of this equipment shall require no in-ground posts, pits or special foundations. Bids for above ground parallelogram, in-ground or scissor type lifts are not acceptable.
(1) Qualified individuals and firms wishing to submit bids must use the forms provided by the City. Bid forms and specifications may be obtained by visiting the MITN system @ www.mitn.info.
(2) Bids must be submitted in sealed envelopes and returned to the City Clerk's Office no later than 2:00 p.m. local time, Wednesday, April 17, 2013. At approximately 2:15, local time all timely received bids are to be publicly opened and read.
