CITY OF ROMULUS - ITB #12/13-33 THREE (3) PRISONER FOOD PASS/CUFF PORTS FOR ROMULUS POLICE DEPARTMENT The City of Romulus Police Department is seeking bids from qualified vendors for the acquisition of three (3) food pass/cuff port retrofit assemblies. The purpose of the units is to reduce the risk to officers during the feeding and handcuffing of prisoners while in the police department's cell block. The ports will be installed in the doors of the prisoner cells by the City's Department of Public Works. (1) Qualified individuals and firms wishing to submit bids must use the forms provided by the City. Bid forms and specifications may be obtained from the MITN system @ www.mitn.info. (2) Bids must be submitted in sealed envelopes and returned to the City Clerk's Office no later than 3:00 P.M., Wednesday, April 10, 2013. All timely received bids are to be publicly opened and read.
