Summary of Specifications:
City of Romulus ITB 14/15-02 Quarterly Newsletter Public Opening August 18, 2014 (1) The City of Romulus is requesting formal bids for printing and mailing services of its newsletter to be mailed to all residents of the City of Romulus. This solicitation is very time sensitive. It is the intent of the city to award the bid at the regular Council meeting to be held August 25, 2014. The successful bidder will be notified to proceed the following day and the initial issue must be delivered to all addresses no later than September 12, 2014. Companies should not submit a bid if they cannot comply with this timeline. Four newsletters will need to be printed and delivered during the City's fiscal year. The delivery dates for the next three issues has not been determined, at this time subsequent issues will need to be printed and delivered sometime in mid December 2014, mid March 2015 and mid June 2015. This is subject to change. (2) Pricing must include all labor, materials, mailing services and postage to deliver a City newsletter to all addresses located within the city (approximately 8,900 copies)Additional copies, which will not be mailed will be ordered (250-1,000). (3) Qualified individuals and firms wishing to submit bids must use the forms provided by the City. Bid forms and specifications may be obtained by visiting the MITN system @ www.mitn.info. (4) Bids must be submitted in sealed envelopes and returned to the City Clerk's Office no later than 3:00, Monday, August 18, 2014. At approximately 2:45, local time all timely received bids are to be publicly opened and read.
