CITY OF ROMULUS INVITATION TO BID ITB 14/15-15 FOUR 2015 - 4WD EXPLORER XLT SPORT UTILITY VEHICLES (1) The City of Romulus Police Department is seeking bids from qualified vendors for four (4) 4WD 2015 Ford XLT Explorers or an approved alternate. ALTERNATE BIDS: The equipment packages requested are the minimum standard options that the Department will award the bid for and take delivery of. The Department would like to take delivery of the vehicles as soon as possible. As a result, bidders are encouraged to submit bids for the vehicles currently available off their lots that may have additional options and be all in one of the colors listed or in different colors (bright colors and white are not acceptable). (2) Qualified individuals and firms wishing to submit a bid must use the forms provided by the City. Bid forms and specifications may be obtained from the MITN system @ http://www.mitn.info/. (3) Two (2) copies of the bids must be submitted in sealed envelopes and returned to the City Clerk's Office no later than 2:30 P.M., Tuesday, January 20, 2015. At approximately 2:45 p.m., local time all timely received bids are to be publicly opened and read.
