Summary of Specifications:
CITY OF ROMULUS RFP 12/13-17 REQUEST FOR QUALIFICATIONS FROM CONSULTING FIRMS FOR CONSTRUCTION ENGINEERING SERVICES The City of Romulus will receive written qualifications for providing Consulting Engineering and Testing services for the resurfacing of Tobine Road from Shook Road to Wick Road. The construction engineering for this project will include all surveying, staking, field inspection, construction administration and quality control testing in accordance with MDOT requirements, specifications and guidelines for the pulverizing and reshaping of approximately 3,300 linear feet of roadway, utility structure adjustments, storm sewer installation, grading, pavement marking installation and restoration. Consultants must be on MDOT’s pre-qualification list for Road Construction Engineering and have working experience with Field Manager software and the MERL Program. The City will be following the MDOT Vendor Selection Guidelines for Service Contracts dated October 2004. (2) To be considered, proposals must be received in the City of Romulus Clerk's Office no later than 2:00pm, Tuesday, October 30th, 2012.
