Summary of Specifications:
CITY OF ROMULUS RFP # 12/13-21 Group Medical and Prescription Insurance Plan The City of Romulus, Michigan is seeking proposals from qualified vendors for the above item/items. This RFP is being issued in accordance with the City’s requirement under Michigan Public Act 106. All insurers, METs, MEWAs, VEBAs, or other insured, self-insured, or alternatively mixed-funded and administered arrangements are invited at this time to submit their proposals to the City for full consideration. The City reserves the right to reject all bids and proposals and to waive technicalities. The City is not accepting any proposals from agents, brokers, consultants, or otherwise independent sales representatives. The City’s Agent of Record is McGraw Wentworth. McGraw Wentworth will be assisting the City in the evaluation of all valid proposals received from suitable potential bidders. Proposals must be submitted in sealed envelopes and returned to the City Clerk's Office no later than 2:00 P.M., Friday, March 8, 2013. At approximately 2:15, local time all timely received bids are to be publicly opened and read.
