Summary of Specifications:
POLICE DEPARTMENT FACILITY ARCHITECTURAL AND ENGINEERING SERVICES: It has been determined that the current Police Department facility is past its useful life and a new facility is required to provide the required police services to the residents of Royal Oak. The planned Project for the new Police Department facility will include the design and construction of approximately 38,500 square feet on the east side of the current Farmer’s Market on city-owned property. The Owner’s budget is estimated to be between $14,250,000 and $16,350,000, and site work is included in the Project. The selected firm should be able to start with design development in early September 2016, with bids being solicited in spring 2017, construction commencing in summer 2017, and completed by December 2018.
