Summary of Specifications:
The City of Royal Oak is seeking qualified planning and zoning consultants to amend the city’s Sign Ordinance (Chapter 607, Signs, of the Code for the City of Royal Oak). The current Sign Ordinance can be viewed at http://ecode360.com/8262159. The city is interested in amending its Sign Ordinance in response to the U.S. Supreme Court’s ruling in Reed v. Town of Gilbert, Arizona. The city desires to identify all portions of its existing Sign Ordinance that may be in conflict with this ruling and other court precedents, and then amend the ordinance accordingly.
